Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about managing bookings, bands, and your calendar.
Getting started
What is Band Artist Booking?
Band Artist Booking is a calendar-first platform for musicians and bands. You manage your availability, accept bookings, post to a public feed, and let clients reach you through a public booking-request form on your profile. It replaces the chaos of group chats with one shared schedule.
How do I get booked?
Create your profile with photos, music links, genres, and instruments — that puts you in our public artist feed. Anyone can then send you a booking request via the form on your profile page. You also get a personal profile URL you can share with venues, agents, and event planners.
Is Band Artist Booking free?
Yes — the Free plan lets you create a profile, manage your calendar, and receive booking requests with no credit card required. Pro and Pro+ unlock more bands, the Manager role, and extra visibility in the feed. Most users start free and upgrade only when they grow.
Bands & bookings
How does the shared band calendar work?
Every band member has a personal calendar. When a band gig is added, the system checks each member's other commitments and warns about conflicts. No more group-texting "are you free Saturday?" — everyone sees the same schedule in real time.
Can I be in more than one band?
Yes. Depending on your plan you can own and join multiple bands. Each band has its own calendar, member roster, permissions, and booking inbox. Your personal calendar shows conflicts across all your bands at a glance.
How does the public booking-request form work?
Each artist and band profile page has a "Book now" form. Anyone — no signup needed — can submit a request with their name, contact info, event date, and details. You get notified instantly and can accept or decline from your dashboard or mobile app.
Can a manager or agent handle my calendar for me?
Yes. You can invite a Manager who gains the ability to view and act on your behalf — accept booking requests, edit gigs, manage your gig posts. You stay in full control of your account, subscription, and personal info, and you can revoke a Manager's access at any time from Settings.
Plans, sync & privacy
What's the difference between Free, Pro, and Pro+?
Free covers the basics: profile, calendar, booking requests, one band. Pro adds more bands, advanced visibility in the feed, and calendar-app sync. Pro+ adds the Manager role for talent agents, monthly profile Highlights, and our highest band caps. See the full comparison on the Pricing page.
Can I sync my BandBooking calendar with Google, Apple, or Outlook?
Yes — every gig you accept is exposed as a calendar feed your favorite app can subscribe to. Once you connect, accepted bookings show up automatically in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook, and update whenever you add or change gigs in BandBooking.
How do I delete my account or my data?
You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete Account. Your personal data is removed permanently. You can also export everything we hold about you (your right of access under GDPR) from the same page. Booking requests sent to you by non-users are pruned automatically; you can request earlier deletion through our contact page.
