Born and raised in the south side of Mississippi, Lando Swazii brings raw, but polished sound to every track. Blending street storytelling with drill intensity and trap production, his music reflects ambition, pressure, loyalty, and the reality of the life he lives. The Afro fusion Group Wazumbians is a Ghanaian music group whose sounds re-echoes the famous Ghanaian group Osibisa; famous for their pioneering role in worldmusic around the globe. With musical direc>ons from long experienced producer Wazumbi, this new band of long serving musicians is a spicey mix of catchy tunes served with ornamented rythmic grooves steeped in African tradi>ons into one soul sa>sfying broth. The band's music is influenced by greats including Bob Marley, Salief Keita, Fela Ku> and Lucky Dube yet, for such a wide array of influence, they carry a coherent sound all carefully mixed together yet carelessly shared with their audience and listeners with great fun for equal measure. The band has shared stage with great renowned ar>sts such as Kanda Bongo Man, Ambuley, Bessa Simons, Part Thomas, jamaaladeen Tacuma, as well as other renowned interna>onal Bands. The band has also traveled to Europe for performances and recording of their third album in France. Wazumbians also toured the United States of America in 2022 and 2023, 2024, where they played fiWeen shows in different states, such as the FLIPSIDE FEST, ACANA FEST, SOB’s, AFROJAM, SHRINE, AFRICAN WORLD PEACE FEST , INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL BROOKLYN, INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS CHICAGO, TREEFORT FEST, INTERNATIONAL FOLK FESTIVAL NC, THE LOCAL, AFRO FUNKE FESTIVAL LA, JALOPY THEATER, VOICES DEL JAZZ COLOMBIA, WAKANDA FESTIVAL, BLACK SQUIRREL PA, ETC. The Band is currently on its 2025 tour and has played in Cartagena-Colombia and currently in the United Sates and has played in California, New York, San Diego, Huston Philadelphia and many more. The Wazumbians were awarded by the African World Peace Fes>val in America, GKP founda>on in collabora>on with New York Mayor awarded them and they were also honored by the New York Police Department and the Mayor of Fayeeeville North Carolina. Much loved in their home city of Accra, the Wazumbians have helped bring back a vibrant live music.

I was orphaned twice once by my parents once by my adopted parents, after that at 9 years old I ran away and ended up living in the woods till I was 13 and homeless on and off since. Music has been my way to cope and a way not to feel so alone in this world without a family. Life's been super hard with no support or parents for advice or anything really but I manage the best I can on my own
